On the 21st of September, the Willie Mackie Skills Hub was officially opened at Ayrshire College Kilwinning Campus, marking a significant advancement in education and technology integration.

Working closely with Ayrshire College, iTech played a pivotal role in developing Automation Training Rigs for the Technologies Workshop, a cornerstone of the Skills Hub. These training rigs are set to enhance learning experiences, focusing on automation and emerging technologies.

The Willie Mackie Skills Hub has been designed to offer a flexible learning space that can adapt to the ever-changing landscape of emerging technologies. Ayrshire College intends to utilise this facility to provide vocational training in sustainable and SMART technologies, complementing their traditional offerings in construction trades. Equipped with the latest industry tools and equipment, the hub promises an outstanding learning environment for students.
